For our client in the banking sector based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced, motivated React Engineer - Banking to join an exciting project in the Wealth Management domain.
You will be part of an agile team working on the complete rebuild of a trading platform with a strong focus on user experience, performance, and scalability.
Your tasks:
- Develop and maintain a high-performance, modern frontend for a new trading application
- Translate complex business requirements into intuitive and responsive UI components
- Write clean, testable code and ensure high coverage through automated testing
- Collaborate closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and product owners
- Take part in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of processes
- Support in technical decision-making and architecture design
Your profile:
- Several years of hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript with experience in the banking sector
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and component-based design
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, especially Jest
- Previous involvement in agile software development (e.g., Scrum)
- Domain knowledge in Banking or Wealth Management is a strong advantage
- Basic knowledge of Java is a plus
- Proactive, collaborative, and quality-driven mindset
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
Bachelor
